If you want an input box to popup go into microsoft query and put in the following in the value box.
[Type in the model] That will prompt the user with the message in the []. It was not very easy to do. (Insert nasty MS comments here) I couldn't get it to pass the value to the query via the default setup screens. I built the query to prompt the user for the value, and then I right clicked on the field that had the query and then I was able to find the option that let me link the field to the query. Change the value in cell C18 and it will update the data in the row next to it. This just uses the standard old concomp database. The file is located at http://www.sosamon.com/rbase/samples/testconcompodbc.xls I think you will want to right click on this link and save the file on your machine before trying it. You will need the concomp datasource on your machine.
