Although I had not originally considered R:Base as the cause, I have encountered this in our office using WordPerfect in a Netware 4.11 environment. We are running 98 as well. We purchased new computers in April loaded the full version of 6.1 then unloaded it and reloaded 6.5++. but operating in R:Base is generally stable and doesn't have the blocks appearing. I have been watching gateway, and NVIDIA(Monitor Driver software) for a patch.
But I also often have trouble importing and exporting data. R:Base goes through the motions, but creates no new data file? tom ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dennis Fleming" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, July 10, 2002 11:00 AM Subject: Installation surprises? > We are upgrading RBWin Runtime customers to 6.5++, but a couple of weeks > ago a client loaded Runtime 6.1 from diskette.
