<< I can't afford to go to conferences all over the world to get this kind of information and I mostly go straight to updates on the rbasetechnologies.com site. In fact, only a few days ago did I stumble upon this listserv! >> Claudia, Welcome to the list server. I understand your frustrations, as when Microrim ceased to exist, I was in the same boat. But the list server fills a LOT of gaps, and as Dr R. posts his little tips, it makes life MUCH easier to keep up. I understand not being able to travel much, but if you contact RBTI for a disk from the last conference, you'll be amazed at what you see. If you can possibly travel, I'd recommend the next RBase Conference in Pittsburgh next April. Costs a bit, but it's been WELL worth it to me. And with the advance airfare purchases, and a little time to search for them, it may well be money well spent. Just MHO, but it's saved me a fair amount of money with the tips I've learned. I run a Spring Mfg. company, and we do almost ALL of our computer work in RBase, from customer contact, quotations, order entry, costing, invoicing, quality standards, accounts receivable, and ALL of that. I never got ambitious enough to code AP and GL, because there were always some pretty good programs out there for them, but everything else is RBase. Glad to have you on the list, and hope we can be of some help to you. Damon Damon D. Kaufman President Stalder Spring Works, Inc. ISO-9002 / QS-9000 Certified 2345 S.
