Gary: In a regional form where there is only one editable field, if you press [F7] or [F8] to go between rows, you are in OVERWRITE mode. So anything you type will automatically overwrite whatever is in there. Some people like this, some don't (I've always wanted an INSERT ON/OFF toggle). However, if you press [Enter] after the field to go to the next row, you are in INSERT mode, so it will just push anything that is already in that field off to the side and the person must remember to erase it.
Here's a really kludgy way around this. Locate a dummy field that butts up against the editable field. Make sure the dummy field is editable. Have an eep on entry into the dummy field that plays back an [F8]. This puts you in overwrite mode on the next row.
