Open with Multi set off

Hi everyone, We upgraded some switches on our network and our server lost network access our server was not turned off or rebooted.  Now when we open our main database we get the message "The database is currently unavailable it is probably set with multi off".  I checked all of our config files and Multi is set on, on all files. Is there a command I can run to reset my database service? I'm running r:base 2000 6.5++  windows. All help is very much appreciated.  Thanks.  Tricia Porter Weber State University
