Simple Encryption

I'm looking for a way to encrypt a text file from within Rbase (RBW6.5++ 1.851).   Is anyone familiar with a callable UDF or DLL or other executable routine that can do this?   The encryption scheme does not have to be extensive.  It only needs to prevent the casual browser from deciphering content.   Any insight would be appreciated...
