After seeing Javiers post and a little further digging he
is absolutely correct. Sorry about the misleading information.
What I had in mind was finding duplicate info.. A few of the
guru's on this list helped me in the past in this area of 
finding dupes... 
I was shown this code:

BROWSE ALL FROM header +
WHERE ponum IN (SELECT ponum FROM header GROUP BY ponum +
HAVING COUNT (*)>1)
--this was suggested by Bill Downall for a quick feedback
--at the r:> to see if there is duplicates. 
-- at the r:> put in the statement:
--SELECT * FROM primarykeycol, COUNT(*) FROM primarykeycol +
--GROUP BY primarykeycol HAVING COUNT(*) > 1


I figured the indexing applied to the deleting
of them as well..
