I'd add that I suspect it also has
something to do w/file attribute settings in 2000(NT) when the partition is
formatted using NTFS. Unfortunately, I'm not sufficiently well-versed at
the moment to add much to this. I could say that is your user profile is
Administrator-level and the partition is NTFS, then this is probably the
case.
I'm sure there are others on the list who
can add explanations/solutions.
