Stan, I am using XP Home version with R:Base 2000 v6.5++ (1.859xRT03) and I had no problem with the following:
project temporary abcdef from addresspcn using * Rich Starkey -------Original Message------- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Friday, October 04, 2002 2:29:30 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: PROJECT TEMP When I attempted to project to a temporary table in Windows XP, R:Base gave me this error message: "Syntax is incorrect for this command (2045)". The syntax is the basic one: PROJECT TEMPORARY TempTable FROM TableName USING * Works fine under Windows 98. BTW, creating temporary tables in Windows XP is not a problem. RBW 6.5++. Any idea why? TIA.
