Thanks Bernie and Rich,
Removed McAffee antivirus and firewall-- same
results.
Reinstalled R:Base -- same
results
The strangest thing is that projecting to a
permanent table or creating temporary tables presents no problem. The only
thing that I cannot do (message is "Syntax incorrect for this command") is
projecting to a temporary table. The syntax is definitely
correct.
It is RBW 6.5++ with Patch 2 running under Windows
XP Professional. Works without problem at all under Windows 98. Also
don't know if it has anything to do with Office XP, also installed, because I
remember I had to remove Office XP after discovering a problem installing or
using RBW. I found out that if I installed RBW before Office XP, then I
had no problem; but not the other way around.
Could some users of Windows XP Professional
share their findings?
Thanks.
