David,

All DLLs must be listed in RBASE.INI file under [PlugIn] section
to display as [Custom] option for any column/variable object
properties in Forms, Reports and Labels.

Example:

[PlugIn]
FDRAWDLL0=rbarcode.dll
RDRAWDLL0=rbarcode.dll

Following are the specifications of "sample" RBARCODE.DLL:

01. Data must be at least 7 characters long, with the first 7 characters
    all digits.

02. The remaining characters can be text, upper case letters, or hyphens.

03. Embedded blanks are not permitted.

04. The entire string cannot be longer than 20 characters.

If you know Borland C++ or MS Visual C++, you can modify the source code
to meet your needs, OR design your own custom DLL to use with R:BASE 2000
(version 6.5++) for Windows.

On the other hand, The Magical R:BASE 7.0 for Windows includes the build-in
Barcode Controls (Barcode and DB Barcode) in Report/Label Designer.

Enjoy and make sure to have fun!

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.

I checked RSyntax earlier today about this but did not see a list of what
parameters rbarcode.dll is expecting. Where can we find that information?
