Be aware that if you use 0.5 it will round an even number, i.e. 6.0 to 7, if you use 0.49999 it will keep it as 6.

I tried it but had the .4999 as .5 , so it would round the even amount to the next dollar. Thanks again Dan -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:owner-rbase-l@;sonetmail.com]On Behalf Of Javier Valencia Sent: Tuesday, November 05, 2002 11:10 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: FUNCTION TO ROUND UP The ANINT function will round (up or down) a number to the nearest number, for example 2.5 will round up to 3, 2.49 will round to 2. If for some reason you want to round all decimal numbers up, 2.1 to 3, the you can use the following expression" SET VAR vrounded_up = (ANINT(.v_original + 0.4999)) This will round up any decimal number to the nearest higher number. 7.0 will remain 7 but 7.001 will become 8. I hope that this is of help. Javier Valencia, PE President Valencia Technology Group, L.L.C. 14315 S.
