Each time you CONNECT your main database you need to redo the SCONNECT dbname IDENTIFIED BY userid. When you DISC the main database you lose the SCONNECTion (but not the SATTACHes).
I'm SCONNECT-ing another RBase database (RBWin 6.5++) and then attaching 2 tables. Set up my System DSN; the database to connect has no owner name or password. The first time I sconnect and sattach, I can use the tables just fine. But as soon as I disconnect my main database, reconnect and try to access the 2 attached tables, the ODBC connection box comes up asking for the userid and password. I've tried SCONNECT ... IDENTIFIED BY NONE (also PUBLIC) and it makes no difference. What am I doing wrong? Karen
