I had the setting that you suggested before but I changed based on recommendation from member of this board a while back, as there are several users adding data simultaneously and I need the system to bring out the record that each user added last.

LAST will give you the most recently added row, even if it was from another user -- it is not multi-user safe. INSERT will give you the last inserted row from your workstation in the current session -- it is inherently multi-user safe. I'm not sure exactly when INSERT was added to the language, but it has been around for a while. -- Larry ================================================ TO SEE MESSAGE POSTING GUIDELINES: Send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message body, put just two words: INTRO rbase-l ================================================ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message body, put just two words: UNSUBSCRIBE rbase-l ================================================ TO SEARCH ARCHIVES: http://www.mail-archive.com/rbase-l%40sonetmail.com/ ================================================ TO SEE MESSAGE POSTING GUIDELINES: Send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message body, put just two words: INTRO rbase-l ================================================ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message body, put just two words: UNSUBSCRIBE rbase-l ================================================ TO SEARCH ARCHIVES: http://www.mail-archive.com/rbase-l%40sonetmail.com/
