Ok,
I've played around a little!

Zip rollout 'C:\Program Files\Volo View Express\voloview'
c:\rbti\rbwin65\default.dwg

Works just fine!

So launch is limited only to file association and exe/com execution?

Is this true!

If so I'll be putting my request to add zip rollout feature to the
launch command!

Best regards,

Oma

Subject: Launch?

I'm using the launch command to activate a viewer application for
autocad drawings.

Voloview which is a view provided by autocad!

I'm attempting to download a drawing from the DB to a default file
(default.dwg).

If I run the view application in a command prompt I can use voloview
"c:\program files\volo view express\default.dwg" and the application
will view the drawing.

If I attempt to run at the r> prompt launch voloview.exe "c:\program
files\volo view express\default.dwg" it give me an error messages!

-ERROR- Syntax is incorrect for the command LAUNCH(2045).

Is the launch command limited to only running the application?

I must assume that the launch command can only take EXE or COM
application with no extensions (switches or input).

What can I do to get this default drawing to be viewed!

Or

Should I contact RBTI and ask them about this!

Best Regards,
