Yes, I agree!
But I have an application call Autocad it using the default .dwg file association. When I install voloview it doesn't replace autocad as the the primary association for .dwg So if I want to run voloview I must call it in some manner! What I'm trying to do will work in zip rollout but I want rbase to be still an active window! Launch doesn't provide for this! As I've figure that out! But I await 7.0! Oma, Technically, using your operating systems' Explorer, if you can double click on any file and it opens that doubled-clicked file with appropriate program...Bingo! You can open that file from within R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) for Windows using the LAUNCH command. It's that simple. Basically, when any program is installed, it usually has its proprietary or favorite file extensions. For example, .RB1 is the file association to LAUNCH R:BASE 2000 for Windows, .TXT for Windows NotePad, .PDF for Adobe Acrobat Reader, .DOC for MS Word .WPD for Corel WordPerfect, mailto: for your default e-mail program and so on ... In your case, if Voloview is installed correctly and has the file association with *.dwg files, you should be able to use the following example at the R> prompt, command file or in EEP. LAUNCH Default.wdg The Glorious R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++), Build:1.862xRT03, for Windows, released on November 27, 2002 includes the Enhanced LAUNCH command with the option of added parameters and wait until finished.
