New topic in Windows: Constructor problem with ActiveX object
dgdavidge - Wed Jun 11, 2008 3:02 pm <http://forums.realsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?t=22858> I have added an ActiveX automation object to a project and created an instance of it in code. When I try to run the code, I get an error message that says: Code:You must use the value returned by this function. OLEObject("{0431B638-C674-4279-9E74-45249B07ADBC}") This error is in the constructor for the OLEObject and the line of code above is the only thing in the constructor. The constructor was created by RB when I added the object. Can anyone tell me how to change this line of code or is this a bug in RB? -- Over 900 classes with 18000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in.
