Posts: 17 While I know it is possible in VB(A) to shell out and
call RB, is it possible to call RB in more of a .DLL type or arrangement?

I would like to be able to pass the current Document object to RB, have RB do
some work on it, and then return to VBA with the document properly changed.

(Perhaps the followup question to this is: If it is not possible now: is it
something that RB is planning?)

Thanks,
Gary

Posts: 17 I'm sorry but I failed to mention that the called RB
application must have a user interface.

Thanks,
Gary

Posts: 272 struggling to think of why you would want to do this.
Assume you mean 'an app written using RB'
You may want to consider RBScript

But what is it you need to happen, exactly?..
dont jump to a solution.. just explain the problem.
