Location: Lanark, Ontario I develop on RB 2008r5 Pro on Mac OS X
10.5 and need to test my application on Windows XP. The remote debugger stub
used to work for me on Windows. Now when I select Run Remotely when the IDE
starts to show "Creating the remote file" the remote Debugger says "An
exception of class NilObjectException was not handled.

The only previous mention of this behavior was supposedly solved by
"re-installing" stub. I have transferred a fresh copy of the stub from my Mac
to the PC. Same result.

I tried using a password and not using a password. I made sure the Windows name
of the app has a .exe. I trashed the cache files on both Mac and Windows.

Anybody have any ideas?

Location: Canada, Alberta, Near Red Deer is the stub experiencing
the nil object exception or the app that is being run by the stub ?

it's a huge difference
