Hi Christian, you mentioned at one time that your Quicktime plugin can simultaneously record and playback audio. I'm immensly interested in this as I want to make a very simple multi-track window for my app. First, I would make a click track based off the tempo by taking a click sample and pasting it at calculated durations all along one soundtrack in a editable movie (for 5 minutes - I haven't experimented with it yet but I've managed to combine midi and audio to playback at the same time in a movie (I wish I knew how to make midi files)). Then I want QT to play the movie soundtrack while I record another track using some sort of input like a microphone (but preferebly a asio audio input as this is probably a guitar) The repeating the above, play back both of the audio files of the movie and record an adittional track. then be able to playback all three tracks and of course save it! I know how to speed up and slowdown the movie files without changing the pitch (see my posts - with MB QT this is like 3 lines of code!) So, could you elaborate for me (and us music RB programmers) the simplest way to record and playback using 1,2,3 steps? it just started snowing in Poland - the same in Germany?
