The problem is the helptag always displays above the contextual menu, obscuring the first 1 or 2 items. I can't see any way to suppress the helptag when the contextual menu is shown. The only way that I can think to not show the helptag would be to clear it, but then there would be no way to restore it. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions? I think the only usable workaround is to have either the menu or the helptag, but not both. _________________ RB 2009r4 Windows XP Top Jym Post subject: Re: Listbox - hide cellHelpTag when ConstructContextualMenu?Posted: Wed Apr 20, 2011 3:31 pm Joined: Sat Oct 01, 2005 5:19 pm Posts: 2376 Why wouldn't you be able to restore it? I could restore it in the menuitem action if the user selects a menu item, but there's no event if the user doesn't select an item from the menu. There's no 'DestructContextualMenu' event. Unless there's a way around that that I'm not seeing. _________________ RB 2009r4 Windows XP Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 3 posts ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
