Basically, one should be able to check a mutex of the same name via a tryEnter, but if applicationONE enters the the mutex before applicationTWO launches, applicationTWO will never be able to enter the same named mutex even after applicationOne leaves the mutex. It's better written out in <feedback://showreport?report_id=17906> This bug resulted in some tough to diagnose hangs as I use shared mutex to synchronize the sequential launching and quitting of some apps.
