Location: San Diego, CA Just started to do more compiles in
Cocoa as RS2012r1 seems to be much more stable than previous versions...

Noticed one thing about the Slider control...
In Design Mode the Thumb looks like an inverted "triangle"..... but when
compiled it is a Circle.... and the control is not as "tall" (it looks great..
but hard to set postion and spacing when it changes from designtime to run time.

Also I experimented and turned the Slider Ticks property on. Carbon ignored
it. Cocoa goes BOOM

on the left is what it looks like in Design Mode, on the Right is the SAME
thing in Run Mode
(Carbon looks the same in both Design and Run)

I like the look.... hopefully the New IDE will render it the same in Design and
Run modes.

Also noticed that when you DISABLE a BEVELBUTTON it does NOT gray out the text
like it should....

And in a Global Floating Window... in Carbon... ONLY the Close Icon will
display (red ball) regardless of the setting for MinimizeButton or Maximize
Button
but in Cocoa... All THREE display always (disabled or enabled based on the
settings).... Don't know if this is a bug or intended.. but it is different
from before.

Guess I need to fall back to Carbon for a bit....

Posts: 183 The reason the sliders look different is due to the
IDE still being Carbon.. Once the new IDE is released they will render the same
in both the IDE and compiled app because both will be Cocoa..
