I've programmed a web app that connects to a mySQL server on my host site. It connects, then loads a recordset based on some user input. The application runs perfectly on my computer when in run mode before compiling. No problems at all, it is screaming fast, connects to the mySQL server on my host with no issues, and updates the database like it should. In short, everything is perfect. But, when I compile it and put the app online, it crashes as soon as it tries to do the first SQLSelect command. The database does connect, and I can put up a message box that gives me a correct record count on each of the tables. But still, as soon as it goes to SQLSelect it locks up. On the host error log, it gives me a 500 - internal server error. has anyone had an issue like this? Any suggestion on what it might be? Thanks for any help you can give! That is the only error message I get on the host though (it's actually a "file not found" error I'm getting on the error log: [Sun Oct 21 21:25:18 2012] [error] [client XX.192.5.XXX] File does not exist: /home/username/public_html/500.shtml, referer: http://domain.com/cgi-bin/cgifile/cgifile.cgi I only know it is happening with the SQLSelect command by using a combination of msgbox pop-ups and removal of commands to very slowly narrow down the issue. I've turned off the RealStudio error pop-ups though, so there might be another error message that I'm not getting. It's just really bugging me because it all works so well when running it before compiling - even though it still connects to the same mySQL server at the same IP address.
