Location: Ontario, Canada Hi All, I'm new and trialling Web
Edition.

As I write a web app, there seems to be no good way to have a user confirm they
really want to delete something (such as a record in CRUD operations).
MsgBox() takes only one arg that I can see and the other dialog control is only
for DE - am I right?

How have you handled this? A "Delete this ..." checkbox, that pops up a
warning that on clicking a save button, all will be lost?

Thx

Create a WebDialog in the project tab.
Drag that WebDialog, where you select the WebDialog in the left (controls) list
into the WebPage.
Now you can show a WebDialog with WebDialog1.Show (or WebDialogName.show).

You can add buttons to that WebDialog and any other control as in a WebPage...

much!

Ok, forgive me again, but noob questions:
 - how do I limit the size of that dialog?
 - can I change fonts and sizes in WE?

(I'll digress again here too... I'm not finding documentation particularly
strong/helpful. Can anyone recommend anything, especially WE related?)

There is a property in the WebDialog editor window on the right size.

You can change font and sizes with the use of WebStyles.

Go to the project tab, add a WebStyle then edit that style by double click on
the WebStyle1 you just created.
Now you get a "+" on the style editor with a list (if you click +).

Go to the Label, Button, Dialog etc. wich need a differend style and add style
on the right side after you selected the control where you want to set that
style to.

-It's almost all control based editing.
-You can add a WebStyle to any UI visual control
-Make multiple styles for different controls or use 1 style on all controls

Just try it..

If you want more fonts you can always use Google Web Fonts
