Posts: 14                Hello,
I finally managed to get an application built. It does everything a I needed it 
to do, has been debugged, etc. It a very specific type of time tracking 
application.
But I am lost on the next step. My application is in its present form is very 
ugly. Looks dated, way too VB'ish. I would like to improve the gui and make it 
look like the apps on the sales page here. Specifically this look:

Is that sample available so that I can see what controls where used? or is 
there something similar? I looked at a bunch of the sample files that came with 
the istall but could not locate anything like that one.
It is the left side of the screen I am the most interested in. What control 
should I use to get those icons? how do I get the shaded toolbar at the bottom? 
how about the blue divider on the middle?
Or is my problem that I am running XP and that is how regular controls look on 
newer windows?

Location: San Francisco, CA, USA                The left-side of that app is a 
(or at least looks like a) ListBox control which has been extensively 
customized. Take a look at Alex Restrepo's Library Listbox class for ideas and 
examples.
