Location: Münster, Germany Clients using my program want the
cursor in the textarea more visible. I.g. they think it's too small and they
want it not blinking.
Is there a way to change the insert-cursor into a slightly more visible steady
cursor?
Within the library of standard mouse cusors I couldn't find the proper one.

Location: San Diego, CA First off.. what do your clients think
of other programs the require text input (not ones you wrote).... Its the same
cursor, same size, same blinking,..... as it is handled by the operating
system... not by the application.

Your only recourse is to create your own "textedit" field.... and then you can
make a thick pipe cursor, underline cursor, block cursor.. .it can blink or
not.... all under your control. but it would require you creating a custom
class control.

And NOT one subclassed from TextField (since cursor attributes are not exposed
to begin with)
