I have created two versions of the app to understand performance trade-offs. Pretty version uses a graphical list where I created an object called ListRow - and I build the list by generating new ListRows for each row in the list. The ListRow object has about 4 icon fields (based on ImageView controls), and 3 text fields. Not-so-pretty version just uses a straight WebListBox - without any graphics (because as far as I know, this control does not support any graphics). When populating the lists with, lets say 50 rows or more, the WebListBox performs great, where as the Pretty list takes a long time (sometimes 30 seconds or so) to load. Based on what I am saying here: (1) Do you think I can accomplish a much higher performance "Pretty list"? If so, how? (2) Is anyone aware of graphic support coming in future versions of RB WebListBox - where I might get a higher performance and pretty control to work with? (3) Any other suggestions? You could try the WebTableView 2.0 found here on the forums. It creates a list or grid using Containers but I think it's kind of fast _________________ http://www.linkedin.com/in/albinkiland Dev. iMac 27" + 2x22" LG (2.8GHz Intel Core i7, 12GB RAM, 120GB SSD) OS X 10.8 REAL.Studio Web Edition 2011r3 Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 2 posts ]
