I'm having my app in a folder, running on port 8080. Firewall is open for that port, but i can't seem to get the app to show in the browser. I tried "ipconfig /flushdns" on my local computer, clear browser cache, a custom app identifier etc... Anyone with some Windows Server 2008 skills here? _________________ SWORT⢠- Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 7, Linux Mint 11 and Mac OSX Lion - REAL Studio Enterprise(latest) and WEB Edition(latest) - Plugins (MBS Complete, ToringoLib, Einhugur, VanHoek + Some open source plugins) For Dutch User Groups ask me to enter! Can you access the app with a browser on the server itself with 127.0.0.1:8080? Are you sure no other service use port 8080 on the server? I know nothing about Windows but I can try _________________ http://www.linkedin.com/in/albinkiland Dev. iMac 27" + 2x22" LG (2.8GHz Intel Core i7, 12GB RAM, 120GB SSD) OS X 10.8 REAL.Studio Web Edition 2011r3 Top swort Post subject: Re: Windows server 2008 stand alone?Posted: Thu Nov 29, 2012 2:53 pm Joined: Mon May 31, 2010 5:35 am Posts: 2269 Location: Netherlands Akiland wrote:What happens when you try to access the app in the browser? I know nothing about Windows but I can try lol i tried it all. Now i found the problem.. shame on me... It was the firewall missing the port 8080 as i used other ports before. It just kept loading till ERR_CONN_RESET was given by the browser. Well the firewall should be the first thing to be set right. _________________ SWORT⢠- Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 7, Linux Mint 11 and Mac OSX Lion - REAL Studio Enterprise(latest) and WEB Edition(latest) - Plugins (MBS Complete, ToringoLib, Einhugur, VanHoek + Some open source plugins) For Dutch User Groups ask me to enter!
