Is there anyone who knows how to setup a windows server 2008 R2 to run
standalone web apps?
I'm having my app in a folder, running on port 8080.

Firewall is open for that port, but i can't seem to get the app to show in the
browser.

I tried "ipconfig /flushdns" on my local computer, clear browser cache, a
custom app identifier etc...

Anyone with some Windows Server 2008 skills here?

access the app in the browser?
Can you access the app with a browser on the server itself with 127.0.0.1:8080?
Are you sure no other service use port 8080 on the server?

I know nothing about Windows but I can try

lol i tried it all.

Now i found the problem.. shame on me...
It was the firewall missing the port 8080 as i used other ports before.

It just kept loading till ERR_CONN_RESET was given by the browser.
Well the firewall should be the first thing to be set right.
