Posts: 218 Back in June/July, I tried to include a feature to
let users auto-start my MAS app. I tried pretty much everything that Apple
recommended and even worked with Christian (who graciously created new classes
for this purpose) to get it to work -- but nothing worked for me. If the app
is not sandboxed, both Apple approved method works:

1) SMLoginItemSetEnabled
2) Helper App

However, when the app gets sandboxed, both methods failed. If I use older
methods, Apple rejects them. I'm not revisiting this issue. To those of you
who develop apps for the Mac App Store, has anyone successfully implemented a
way for users to autostart your app without being rejected? I have not touched
RS in a while so things may have changed... (fingers crossed).
