Location: Sydney Australia Now that the winner of the SHA-3 hash
competition has been announced, last October - is it likely to appear in the
crypto class soon?

There is of course no huge rush and I doubt anyone will find a crack for SHA-2
before SHA-3 is included (unless advancements are made with quantum computers
or RS take 50 years to release) but it would be a nice marketing gimmick for
your programs security prowess.
