In this code it writes the textdata memoryblock to the outputfile: dim b as BinaryStream = BinaryStream.Create(outputfile, true) b.Write textdata b.close The textdata memoryblock can be large (up to +100MB). When it writes to the binarystream it locks-up the whole app. Even when you put this in a thread with low priority. Is there a way to write the memoryblock and does not lock the app? Writing in smaller parts within a loop? If so, how?
