Posts: 268 Hi - I've run into a problem... I was remote
debugging... programming RS in windows and using remote debugging to run on my
Mac to check for errors.

Well, my laptop died and I'm a musician and
So, I run parallels on my Mac and running my Windows (which I'm programming in)
on Parallels.
My software works amazingly on Windows (no flickering and it's heavily
graphical!)... but crashes all the time on Mac (less so on carbon than cocoa).
However I cannot get remote debugging from windows on parallels to see the
remote debugger stub running on the mac.

Is anybody doing this - and how did you set it up?
Cheers,
Sean

Location: New York, NY I do it the other way (Remote Debugger
running in Windows), but you have to make sure the networking is Bridged, i.e.,
the Windows environment needs its own IP address on your network, not one
supplied by the Mac as a DHCP server.

Location: New York, NY I can't fire up Parallels at the moment,
but look in the Network options for the VM. You will see choices for how the VM
gets its IP address.
