So if user passes authentication then enable it. I got it all working except when the application is run, I cant hide the menu. There is one window that loads first and on it I got boxes with password and username and I use this code (it works fine): dim result as Boolean result = Authenticator.AuthMe(TxtUser.Text, TxtPass.Text) if (result) then MenuBarVisible = true MsgBox("good login") else MenuBarVisible = false MsgBox("bad login") end I tried using MenuBarVisible = false at APP open event, without success... it is not accessible from there?!?!??! Please help Top wex-alpha Post subject: Re: MenuBar StartupPosted: Sat Mar 02, 2013 12:57 pm Joined: Mon Jul 30, 2007 5:03 am Posts: 106 Location: Sarajevo - Bosnia I got it. I dont know where my mind was... i just add MenuBarVisible = false to open event of the window and it works. Well, to make this thread usefull... App in the project... in short words, what is it? Is it like Main function in C languages? Thanks Top timhare Post subject: Re: MenuBar StartupPosted: Sat Mar 02, 2013 4:17 pm Joined: Fri Jan 06, 2006 3:21 pm Posts: 12091 Location: Portland, OR USA MenuBarVisible hides the system UI, not just the menubar. Just FYI. App really just runs at startup and quit. It's a shelf that allows you to do some initialization and cleanup. Nothing more.
