With RS code that is. Plugins are acceptable. Thanks for any help provided! _________________ Future RS guru. Ride the world! Actually pdf is a combination of raster images and vectors and is usually displayed at a certain resolution that you can specifically set (like when you open pdf in Photoshop). Images can be compressed at certain resolutions, but those may differ between images and between grayscale versus color-images (compression options). Vectors and text are of course resolution independent. So what is it exactly that you want to do with the pdf? I was not clear in what I'm attempting to do, I'll try to explain it better: I need to read the resolution of the raster images embedded in the .pdf document, if there is more than one image I need to find the one with the lowest resolution. I've been reading the .pdf documentation since it's been about three years since the last time I read them. Where there is a will there is a way! _________________ Future RS guru. Ride the world!
