For example, in VS, say you wanted a control to 'stick' to the right of the form, well, you can accomplish this by changing the "Dock" property from 'None' to 'Right'. The control would now stick to the right of the form. Another feature I would love to see in Xojo, is a customizable snap to grid, like VS has. Having these features included would make Xojo an even more powerful IDE than it already is. Even though Xojo looks like a powerful IDE now; I'm just wanting it to be the best cross platform IDE there is. Those properties just sticky the selected controls to the top, left, right, or bottom. I was being facetious :-p in Xojo you can move the palettes (floating panels) or leave them docked on the sides...as far as your own apps, docking is not too hard to achieve. Timers, threads, and other non-visible controls get docked much like the current web edition does across it's bottom. _________________ Matthew A. And I am aware that the functionality that I linked is more closely aligned with the anchor functionality of VS. But if you bother to play around with it you will see that you have 95% of the functionality there but implemented differently. _________________ Windows: Win7 64bit sp1, Vista 32bit sp2, WinXP 32bit SP3 Linux: RH EL6 Mac: Died in 2011 and took 2 months to notice. From my understanding it is just about done.
