You have to set the number of copies to the number of parts (2 for two part - 3 for three part). You also have to staple it but it is carbonless so you can write on the top and it goes to the other copies. If you need more info let me know. I did not think that there was a multipart that would work in a laser printer. He will need to purchase a dot matrix printer to print his quote forms. He needs to be able to write on the form and leave a copy with the customer. He does not want to carry a printer with him to produce quotes onsite. Like all laserjets, they make a single pass through the printer and "fuse" the toner onto the paper to set the image. There are no multipart (multi layer) forms for a laserjet because there is no way to imprint through multiple sheets with pressure, as with an impact (dot matrix) printer.
