I tried this and i got a message something to the effect that i wasn't
allowed to use expression with note fields

Here's how:

01. Add a fifth note field as NOTE data type, such as AllNotes to your
     existing table

02. Use the following UPDATE command to combine all notes into one:

     UPDATE tablename SET AllNotes = (note1col&note2col&note3col&note4col)

     Now you have the AllNotes with every note from 1-4 note fields.

Notes:

01. Keep in mind that the NOTE data type is limited to 4092 characters.

02. Use VARCHAR data type, if desired.
