Follow up ...
We have just updated one of our XP Pro test machines with SP2 and there is no problem running R:BASE 7.1 for Windows (UPD 77), R:BASE 7.1 for Windows Runtime (UPD 77), R:Compiler 7.1 (UPD 77), R:BASE 7.5 for Windows, R:BASE 7.5 for Windows Runtime, R:Compiler 7.5 and R:Scope 7.5.
We'll keep you all posted if we find anything unusual.
