1. Click on the line control at the top of the screen
2. Click on the report area where you want the line
3.  Note the text box in the upper left side of the screen which defaults to
"Top".  Click on the drop down box and change it to "Left" or "Right"

For more lines, to save time, once you've created the first line, click on
the control and press Ctrl C to copy, then Ctrl V - the copy will be pasted
slightly down and to the right of the original and you can drag it to the
correct location.

I am having some difficulty drawing vertical lines on reports, the ‘default’
line created using the toolbar being a horizontal line. Any advice as to how
to quickly create vertical lines would be much appreciated.
