Razzak, Further to my earlier response, I have tried a few more things on my other PC and find that the behaviour is similar to that reported previously.
I have noted the following changes between the CFG files. File created the first time RBASE runs, with no errors, includes the following. INSERT ON ZERO OFF LAYOUT OFF IDQUOTES='`' NOTE_PAD 10 ;============================================================ ; Format ;============================================================ DATE FORMAT MM/DD/YYYY DATE SEQUENCE MMDDYY DATE YEAR 30 DATE CENTURY 19 TIME FORMAT HH:MM:SS TIME SEQUENCE HHMMSS CURRENCY $ PREFIX 2 B NAME USER20041019122404 RBENGINE.CFG file created which results in the startup errors. What happens if you modify the RBENGINE.CFG file manually to update those settings and then start RBG7? That will narrow down the boo-boo, if any!
