Cheryl - In the WHERE Builder, if you created a view with the column names in alphabetical order, then used the #WHERE on the view, they should show up like you want.
To dup a value on a form, you can use some of these ideas: 1. Have a button on the form to Add New - but have it set to the pre-defined EEP option of Duplicate Row - of course that will duplicate ALL fields. 2. Have the button on the form run a custom command that does the DUPROW EEP command but then does other editing of the new row before the user edits it. 3. Put in an enhancement request so that the dbDateTime Picker has the "default" option available so you can then put in #DUP like you can in dbEdit fields. This problem does not affect all R:BASE users on our network (only 2) and does not happen on my laptop. If I make a change to the configuration under the display tab by checking ERROR MESSAGES and STATUS MESSAGES then save the changes, the changes are in effect while that session of R:BASE is open. If I close and reopen R:BASE the changes have been lost. I checked to see if I had multiple copies of RBENGINE.CFG on my C drive. I did have three extra copies from R:BASE conference presentations so I renamed them and tried to edit my configuration file again. It still is not saving my changes. What am I missing? Where Builder question: Is there a way to get the columns in the Where Builder sorted in alphabetical order? DUPROW.EEP question: My database users are complaining about having to re-enter the date on each row of data when using the date/time picker on a form. I found a reference to an eep called DUPROW in an email on the list back in November. Perhaps that will help me. Where can I get a copy of that eep? Thanks! Cheryl
