Since my results and yours were different in 7.1 I went back and tried it again. It seems it's TIME sensitive. With walkmenu OFF, If you hit C once, then pause, then hit C again, it stays put. But if you hit C rapidly in succession, it moves down the list as it does in 6.5++!! Pause again and hit C, and it goes back to the top of the C list! Same with with Walkmenu ON: type quickly and it moves down the list as you'd expect. Pause between keystrokes, and the second letter takes you to the top of the list of entries starting with THAT letter! Ie, in the list Arthur Ashton Bill Bob Carol Cassie Charlie CAS in rapid succession takes you to Carol then to Cassie C, pause A, takes you to Carol then to Arthur!
