In any event, maybe a reply from the good Dr. is in order here.
Robert,
I sincerely appreciate your concern, but I'm not surprised at his comments. Individuals do make grossly inaccurate statements in private or on public forums, and I always make sure to watch out for them. Unfortunately, the behavior is quite common.
All the author had to do was to click on http://www.rbase.com and explore the entire web site, before making these statements. However, common sense is not common.
It is also funny. While the author is clueless, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. He obviously does not know anything about the "all-in-one" next generation R:BASE 7.x, V-8 "Turbo" and upcoming developments of R:BASE Technologies.
I'll certainly do my best to let the author know about R:BASE 7.x and V-8 "Turbo". On the other hand, the author should also hear from the end-users and power-users of R:BASE. So, let's make an effort to educate him.
Is it a coincidence that I spent last Thursday and Friday "one-on-one" training an Oracle DB installer & consultant to help him get a jump start with R:BASE 7.x and R:WEB Suite and understand the power of R:BASE? All expenses were paid by his employer to educate him so that he can convert existing databases and applications to R:BASE 7.x and R:WEB!
As you all know, we are doing everything we can and we'll continue to do so.
The BEST is yet to come ...
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
P.S. Maybe this author should be my guest at R:Chautauqua, so that he can see for himself the power of R:BASE.
