I am trying to replace a dot matrix label job with one running in RB7. I want
to use the same labels, which go through the laser without problem. These
labels are continuous feed, 5.75 inches wide and 3 inches long. The usual
number of labels to print is 7. The idea is that the user will tear off and
feed in a strip with the correct number of labels on it.

I set up the label fine and tried it on the customer's IT department color
laser printer. After removing the label I managed to lose inside the printer,
it appeared the formatting was correct.

However, when I tried it on the user's HP 1320, I can't seem to get it to
recognize the fact that I want to use the custom paper size of 5.75 by 3. The
labels appear on the screen in the preview correctly and I can print them.
They print as though on standard paper. After the print, when I return to the
preview (not having regenerated the report!) the layout has changed to reflect
the standard paper size.

Using the printer properties, I tried to ensure that there was a custom paper
size matching my requirements. Unfortunately, this printer has a minimum 5
inch length for custom forms. So I created a 5.75 by 6 inch form, figuring
I'll handle the duplication of the label (all labels are the same) in code.

I still can't get it to come out correctly.

Can anybody provide me with a cookbook set of instructions for getting 5.75 by
3 inch continuous feed labels to print on a laser?
