Bob, Thanks for your response.
The build I am using at present is 7.1.80.30221 according to the About RBAse screen (SHOW VERSION tells me the following - R:BASE v7.1 Windows (32-bit), U.S. Version, Build: 7.100xRT04. I have just recently reinstalled RBASE on my laptop so there are no old versions about (and I have just checked for all RGG7.EXE files just in case). (The problem also occurs at work on my other PC.) There are also no stray directories in the PATH setting, so I am not sure what else it can be. I had ran into it also, but it was fixed some time back. I just ran a simple report that used a Sum Of variable on the page footer, Pass set to 2 and printed it to the screen. Then from the screen to a file and the values all matched OK. This was a very simple report, but it did have a sum of on the page footer. (Latest ver. 80) So I guess I would verify what version you are running and insure that there are no errant files from older versions lurking around in your computer somewhere that may be getting called up in the path statement. It might even be worth deleting every possibly RBASE file from your entire system and doing a clean install since Rbase is pretty easy to install. Having the DBcalc value available for use would be a great enhancement and I am voting for it! -Bob Thompson Technology Consultants 276 Chippewa LaPorte, IN 46350 219-324-2605 (Phone & Fax) 219-363-7441 (Cell) http://ttc.inc.home.comcast.net -----Original Message----- From: John Docherty [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, March 12, 2005 3:49 PM To: RBG7-L Mailing List Subject: [RBG7-L] - RE: Resetting of variables in reports afterpreview << File: ATT00008.txt; charset = windows-1250 >> -- No virus found in this incoming message.
