I double checked, and saw that the variable are definitely NOT being declared before the report is being run (trace is quite useful for this.) Good idea, but doesn't seem to be the issue here. If they do exist it appears to me that in certain circumstance R:Base will not clear them between report runs, even if that option is checked. I name all my report variables rvVarName and so, before printing a report, I issue CLEAR VAR rv%. -- Larry
