Dennis,

I think if the issue is the non-printable area of the individual printers, that is likely the cause of the footers advancing.  If the printer (or R:Base) thinks it can't fit it, it will advance to the next page.

Early on I had a couple reports where I did that, but now I'm careful to leave 1/4" or more.
I was thinking somehow in properties the hard margin settings were set higher than .25"
I'll check.

On my second item, any problems where footers behave differently on different printers, same report?

Do your reports have margins smaller than .25"?  My printer here has .25" non-printable area for top, left and right and .2 for bottom.  If I set a report to have margins smaller than that, the data gets cut off on the left or right.

Reports are working fine in RB7.1 except at some plants with various flavors of HP printers.

Examples:
1. Break footer prints fine on all but a few printers. On some it's pushed to page 2.
2. Left margin of 1/4 inch truncates data on some printers.

In both of above, the report is fine when output to screen.

TIA,

Dennis
