Right here in
the old USA some of our government agencies also use YYYYMMDD (without the "/"
separator). As I have a client that has to electronically
report data in that format, we have to convert prior to sending out the
files.

I was surprised that the YYYY/MM/DD format is used by some Canadian companies (in the same province) and not others, and even in the same company some departments do it differently. I guess a four digit year is a must. Is the year first considered the "metric" format?
When I put the above in the date picker format I get a zero for the month (???)
