Tom:

Make sure that MULTI is set to “ON” on both computers; also, makes sure that the second/client computer has read and write privileges on the first/server computer.

Subject: [RBG7-L] - Networking question

I have been using Rbase for a long time - 1984, but have never networked.  My question is can someone direct me to info on networking Rbase 7.1 or just help.  I have both computers networked with runtime on both, the host computer has my database, when I try to connect from other computer says cannot connect, set multi off may be on.  The Rbase.cfg shows set multi on.  I know for all of you this is probably very simple and would like some help.

Thanks, Tom Hart
